Paradox a été réalisé par Daryl Hannah. C'est un film pour lequel l'artiste canadien et le groupe californien ont composé la bande-son. Neil et le groupe se voient interpréter les chansons dans le film et une performance live du titre Desert trip est également incluse. La bande son présente un mélange de chansons de récents albums de Neil Young (Show me, Peace trail, Tumbleweed), de vieux classiques (Cowgirl in the sand, Pocahontas, Angel flying to close to the ground), quelques reprises de blues (Baby what you want me to do?, How long?) et de nouvelles chansons (Diggin in the dirt, Running to the silver eagle).
